Meet Stella!

Stella is a 5-year-old, 26-pound pup who is gentle, sweet, and wonderfully soft-natured. She's happiest spending her days playing with her foster siblings, carrying around toys, or simply relaxing near the people she trusts. Stella can be a little shy when meeting new people, often peeking out from behind her foster mom's legs until she feels safe. She's affectionate in her own quiet way, more like a cat than a Velcro dog, and when she decides she'd like some love, she'll softly place a paw on you to ask for attention. Car rides and leash walks can still feel a little overwhelming for Stella, but her confidence grows more and more when she has another dog by her side. Some dogs make themselves known immediately. Stella is different – she's the kind you fall in love with more and more every single day.

Ideal Home

Stella would thrive in a calm home with a fenced yard and possibly a friendly furry sibling to help her continue blossoming.

Ongoing Health

Stella is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and is spayed. She is current on recommended preventions.

Training & Support

Stella can be a bit shy with new people and can find car rides and leash walks overwhelming. Having a confident canine companion can help her build confidence.

Transporation

Stella is in a foster home in South Texas. She can be transported to her new family once adopted.
