Meet Piper, a 2-year-old bundle of squishy-faced joy who's guaranteed to steal your heart! Piper is a Cane Corso/Boxer mix with an underbite that makes her look perpetually thrilled. She's a social butterfly who assumes everyone is already her best friend and loves nothing more than leaning in for hugs and nudging for booty rubs. Despite her imposing face, she's on the smaller side and pure squishy perfection.
Ideal Home
Piper would love a yard for zoomie sessions, but apartment living is also an option if her humans are active and enjoy taking her on adventures. She is not a good fit for homes with cats, as she finds them too interesting. While Piper is gentle and people-loving, her enthusiastic "hugs" when excited mean a home with children would require a successful kid test to ensure everyone's safety and comfort.
Ongoing Health
Piper is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies. She has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Piper is smart and eager to learn, but she's currently more interested in exploring her surroundings than perfecting her leash skills. She's a social butterfly with dogs and enjoys rough-and-rowdy play but also knows when to take a break. She has been great with a variety of play styles and will likely do well with dogs who enjoy interactive play.

Transporation
Piper is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
