Acadia is the smallest of the National Park pups in size, but not in spirit! She is lively, playful, and adventurous! For example, the first time she came inside her foster home, Acadia and her sister Sequoia were a little confused about the stairs. They cried at first, but their foster mom wanted them to try it. After a couple of attempts, Acadia raced up the stairs while her much bigger sister cried at the bottom for someone to help her! Everything is still pretty new for Acadia right now. Mostly it's just eat, sleep, play, repeat, but she is doing a good job following the routine. She knows that when they go outside, it's time to go potty, so she does her business and then sits by the door to tell her foster mom she's done and it's time to get out of the cold. Her foster mom says she is quite the freeze baby! Acadia loves toys of all kinds – ropes, stuffies, chewies – but the crinkly ones are her favorite. She can be pretty vocal while she's playing, and she's learning to not be too mouthy when someone wants to play with her. Turns out fingers are not toys! Acadia thinks always being the smallest makes her feel like she needs to be the loudest or the feistiest to get attention. But once she feels safe and seen, she is as snuggly as they come, and will happily crawl up into your lap for a cuddle. She would love a family who will teach her to be the best puppy ever! Acadia really likes being where the action is, and would love a family who wants her to be a part of it, too! Maybe you could go to training classes together and then swing by a puppy-friendly coffee shop for a pup cup? Sounds like a plan to Acadia!
