Momo Sugar is a pittie mix, approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 37 lbs. He's a rescue dog, and with any rescue, it's always a mystery, so we cannot guarantee breed or age. With his long body, short little legs, bouncy ears, piggy-like nose, and perfectly curled tail, he's a true mystery, but he's the cutest mystery! Momo loves to toss his toys in the air and catch them, proving he's an expert in self-entertainment. But don't let his playful energy fool you; once he's had his fun, he's all about lounging on the floor and hanging out with his people, soaking up the family vibes.

Momo is currently living in a busy foster home with multiple dogs of all ages and sizes, including his best friend, a teeny tiny Chihuahua! They love wrestling together, snuggling, and just enjoying each other's company. He makes doggy friends easily and really enjoys having canine companions to wrestle and romp with. Momo isn't all play all the time, either, so no need to worry about your home turning into a 24/7 doggy daycare. After a good play session or fetch in the backyard, he's fully ready to lay down and take a nap. Momo has also been around kids ages 7-10, including an autistic child, and has done great with kids! He plays with enthusiasm and has the best time playing fetch with older kids, as they are a little more stable on their feet.

Momo is a smarty pants, too! He already knows commands like "sit" and would love to join you on daily walks to explore the world together. He is also crate trained and potty trained and has wonderful house manners. Speaking of exploring, Momo makes a great shotgun rider, so the possibilities are limitless on where you will go together! He often joins his foster family for trips to the local dog park, where he can show off his fetch skills. Momo loves to play fetch and would thrive in a home that can accommodate his energy with a yard. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well with children.

Ongoing Health

Momo is a rescue dog, and his breed and exact age are unknown. All vetting is up to date, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Momo is crate trained, potty trained, knows the command "sit," and has wonderful house manners.

Transporation

Momo is located in Texas and can be transported to various states, including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, and VT, as well as Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA, or Brattleboro, VT. Transport is provided on USDA licensed vehicles with 24/7 care, and adopters can follow their adventure on a private Facebook event page. There is an additional $87 surcharge for transport.
