Zeus Buddy Your Easy Going Best Friend

Zeus Buddy is your go-with-the-flow best friend! He's an approximately 5-year-old, 62lb Lab/Pittie mix who loves to be by your side, whether you're lounging on the couch, sleeping in, or ready for a mini-adventure. Zeus thrives on love and companionship, and his affectionate, genuine nature will quickly make him your shadow and your favorite part of coming home. He forms instantaneous connections and his quiet presence, happy snuggles, and contentment just being near you are truly special.

Ideal Home

Zeus would thrive in a home where someone is often present, like a work-from-home individual or stay-at-home parent, as he loves human interaction. He'd also be fine with longer hours away from home as his foster is a student and he manages well. He does best in a home with no cats.

Ongoing Health

Zeus Buddy is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm.

Training & Support

Zeus is crate trained and potty trained and walks nicely on a leash. His foster trusts him to be left unattended when she leaves the house. He is a little shy when he first meets other dogs but does well with calm, respectful greetings. He would do best with another calm, low-to-medium energy female dog who enjoys relaxing.

Transporation

Zeus is located in the Houston, Texas area. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our own USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
