Molly

Molly is a sweet and friendly 11-year-old schnauzer mix looking for her next home! This lovely lady weighs 28 lbs and is working on a weight loss journey. Molly came to us after her previous owner surrendered her to animal control. She is up to date on shots, spayed, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. Molly also recently had a dental procedure.

Ideal Home

Molly is a social butterfly and will get along great with kids and other dogs. She is also house-trained and walks well on a leash.

Ongoing Health

Molly had two small skin masses removed, identified as low-grade mast cell tumors. These masses were surgically removed. While the margins on one mass were narrow, meaning there's a small chance of regrowth, these low-grade tumors often have a good long-term outlook. Molly will need ongoing monitoring, including regular skin checks and vet follow-ups. Adopters should be comfortable keeping an eye out for any new bumps, as occasionally new lumps can develop over time. Many dogs with this type of tumor live normal, happy lives after surgery.

Molly is currently located in North Carolina and can be transported to the Northeast region (states of NY, PA, MD, DE, NJ, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME).
