ROCCO

Meet Rocco! This handsome 5-year-old pittie mix has a heart of gold and is ready to find his furever home. Rocco's journey began in 2020 when he was rescued from a euthanasia situation in Georgia. He found a wonderful home through a partner rescue in Pennsylvania and lived happily for two years until his owner sadly passed away. When the Pennsylvania rescue couldn't take him back, we were happy to welcome Rocco to our facility in September 2023. He's been getting settled and has even undergone some wonderful training! Rocco can be a little shy with new people, but once he bonds with you, you'll be his whole world. He's a dream on a leash and walks beautifully in a heel.

Ideal Home

Rocco would thrive in a home where he can feel secure and loved. Given his initial shyness, a patient and understanding family would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Rocco is a healthy boy and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Rocco has completed professional training and is now a dream on a leash. He will continue to benefit from positive reinforcement. His training package includes three follow-up sessions and lifetime group walk support, usually held on weekends in Stamford, CT, which is a great way to continue his socialization and training.
