Hey friend, my name is Avery! If you're looking for a sweet and silly girl to adventure with, I may just be the perfect fit.

I'm a very playful pup and I love toys of all kinds! Stuffed animals are my favorite - I love to carry one around with me on walks; I'll show you when we meet! I love treats and positive reinforcement. You can use those things to teach me new things and become my best friend of course! I am high energy. I love to run and I have been on the running team while at the shelter; I would make a great running buddy! Sometimes I don't know my own size and can bump into things, so I need to go to a home without small children. Older dog-savvy kids are okay though!

I have such a silly and outgoing personality. I love to cuddle and lay with my friends. I would do best with someone who is home most of the time but I am crate trained! I have anxiety so I can be worried about being left alone and being in new situations.

While I have lived with another dog previously and have had fun playing with dogs here at the shelter, I will need to be your one and only. This just means more playtime and adventuring with just the two of us. I love to be the center of attention. All eyes and pets on me, please! I will also need a home without cats or other small animals.
