Vander (Soi Dog)

Meet Vander! Vander is a confident, social, and playful 2-year-old Soi Dog mix who weighs about 45 lbs. He was rescued by Soi Dog Foundation at just one month old after being abandoned. He arrived at The Barking Lot in 2023, and has been patiently waiting for his forever family. Vander is truly a hidden gem; he's an absolute favorite among our volunteers and greets everyone with enthusiasm. He loves affection and pets, and has always done wonderfully with other dogs, thriving in playgroups and sharing kennels successfully. He does take a moment to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, you'll discover his loyal, loving, and adventure-ready spirit.

Ideal Home

Vander would thrive in an active home where he can explore the world and spend quality time with his family. He would be happy in a home with or without other pets.

Vander has no known health conditions to be aware of.

Training & Support

Vander walks beautifully on a leash and loves hikes. He is ready to be your jogging buddy, hiking partner, or couch companion. Having spent most of his life in rescue, Vander is more than ready to experience the joys of a loving home.

Transportation

Vander is located in San Diego County, CA. We happily consider out-of-town applications and can conduct virtual playdates. We have monthly transport to various locations in the Pacific Northwest. Individual transport arrangements can be made for other locations across the US and Canada.
