Meet Rubble! This gentle giant is a tank of a dog, and a home with large breed experience is preferred. Rubble was sadly abandoned by his previous owner, arriving with some skin issues, fear, and anxiety. He's making wonderful progress both physically and in his training since joining us. Rubble is a giant puppy with a lot of energy, but he still needs significant training and confidence building. He is highly food motivated, which makes training a breeze! He can be vocal when not receiving attention, and while this is being worked on, some separation anxiety could surface in a new home. Rubble can be uncertain with new people and requires time to warm up, but once he bonds, he's your best friend! He is not reactive to other dogs and seems indifferent in their presence. However, he can be a bit socially awkward when trying to play, and his size and strength could be overwhelming for some dogs. Slow introductions and downtime will likely help him acclimate, as he has a genuine interest in other dogs but still needs to learn how to interact appropriately. Rubble would do best with a female dog, and absolutely no small dogs or cats. His history is unknown, but he can be a passive jerk to male dogs. Ultimately, Rubble would thrive as your one and only pet!
Ideal Home
