HI - I'M GABE! I'm a funny & happy 7-1/2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier in need of a foster or forever home. My nose is shaped like a heart and I've got nothing but love to give! I was originally rescued from a crowded California shelter, and have been waiting much too long for a home. Nobody knows why - I'm so adorable!

I love humans and love going on road trips, walks, and other outings. I ride well in a car and walk well on a leash. I make a great co-pilot and walking buddy. I also love to play fetch with sticks, pine cones and other fun stuff -- and can self-entertain. I am good with some dogs but not others, so would probably thrive as the only dog in the home. I was tested with cats and was afraid of them. I currently weigh about 65 lbs.

Ideal Home

Gabe would likely thrive as the only dog in the home. He was afraid of cats when tested, so a feline-free home is best.

Ongoing Health

Gabe is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Gabe walks well on a leash and is good in the car. He is house-trained and can self-entertain.
