Meet Nala, your Sweet, Silly Little Shadow! Nala is a delightful Chihuahua mix, weighing about 20 lbs, with an estimated birthday of February 12, 2023. Her journey began on the streets, where she created a cozy little home for herself. She would follow people, especially children, with the hope of being chosen. Now, safe and thriving in foster care, Nala is ready to find the loving forever home she truly deserves. She's bursting with personality, playful, affectionate, and wonderfully goofy. She adores her toys and will entertain herself by tossing them for a game of fetch!

Nala would thrive in a home that appreciates a fun, affectionate companion and is committed to helping her continue to build confidence. While another dog would be a bonus, it is not a requirement for her perfect match.

Training & Support
Nala is 95% potty trained and fully crate trained. She already knows "sit" and "stay" and is currently working on "wait." She walks well on a leash, though she is still learning to focus amidst the excitement of the world around her. She can be a little shy initially, but given about 30 minutes to warm up on her own terms, she blossoms into a loyal shadow, eager to shower you with affection.

Transportation
Nala is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be coordinated to your state or a neighboring state. Please note that pickup locations for transported dogs may vary. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters will have the ability to track the van using the Life360 app and will receive updates during transport. Facebook groups are also available for tracking updates.
