Meet "Chimi" (aka Chimichanga)! This handsome 6-year-old boy is a vision in champagne, boasting a soft, healthy coat and captivating greenish-hazel eyes. Chimi is the epitome of sweet, affectionate, and laid-back. He's a well-mannered gentleman who loves to rest his big, goofy head on your lap, patiently awaiting some head scratchies or gentle pets. He enjoys splooting contentedly by your side, happily chewing on his toys or bringing them to you for a fun game of fetch. He's also a very well-trained pup, mastering commands like "sit" and "drop it," and he's gentle when taking treats. Chimi understands the art of patience, waiting calmly until you give him the "okay" to enjoy his food.
When he's not engrossed in playtime or gazing into your eyes, Chimi is remarkably quiet and chill. He doesn't bark! At home, he's a happy-go-lucky and relaxed companion, unbothered by common disturbances like doorbells, thunderstorms, leaf blowers, squirrels, deer, or other wildlife. He walks beautifully on a leash and is non-reactive to people or other animals – he even remained unfazed when a deer dashed right in front of him!
Chimi is a devoted companion who simply wants to be near you and shower you with affection. He melts into belly rubs and butt scratches, wiggling with pure bliss. He's equally happy exploring the great outdoors as he is relaxing inside. While Chimi is currently the only pet in his foster home, he hasn't shown any signs of aggression, so we're optimistic about how he might integrate with other animals.
