Skeeter

Hello there! I'm Skeeter, and I'm a 15-month-old tri-color girl with a heart full of adventure and a brain ready to learn! My mom was a Belgian Malinois and my dad was a Border Collie, which I think explains why I'm so smart and energetic. I was born on July 8, 2023, and came to rescue with my siblings when we were just tiny pups. We had a bit of a rough start with some sickness, but I'm happy to say I'm one of the healthy ones now! My foster mom says I'd be a natural at agility courses, and honestly, I think she's right!

Ideal Home

I dream of a home where I can go hiking, explore the beach, and frolic in the snow! I also love the idea of curling up by the fireplace for a cozy movie night. I'm eager to learn and would love to join you on all your adventures. I do warm up to new people slowly, but once I know you, I'm a sweetheart. I also get along well with cats.

Training & Support

I'm a super smart girl and very treat-motivated, which makes me easy to train. I am crate-trained and a quick learner, so with a little patience, I'll pick up house and leash training in no time! I tend to sulk when scolded, so positive reinforcement is the way to go! I'm a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly. I haven't been around children before, so that's something new we can explore together.
