Diesel

Diesel is a charming 10-year-old, 8lb bundle of love who, despite his age, has the energy of a much younger pup! He enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes and truly embodies the term "velcro dog," thriving on affection from his favorite person. Diesel is good with other dogs and can be cat-tested if needed. He's also been around children in the past, and with slow intros and understanding that he can get nippy when scared, children 12 and older who can give him space would do well.

Ideal Home

Diesel would love a home where he can be showered with adoration. He's flexible and can be an only dog or live with canine companions. He needs a home where he can be kept on a leash when outside, as he does not require a fenced yard but should always be supervised. Homes with children should ensure kids are 12+ and understand how to give Diesel his space when he feels scared.

Ongoing Health

Diesel is a happy and healthy boy! He recently had a dental procedure with 15 extractions, so maintaining his dental hygiene is important. He is fully vetted for one year, neutered, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Diesel is doing wonderfully with house training and would benefit from a consistent potty schedule. He may have a few accidents as he adjusts to a new routine but uses belly bands like a pro. He also settles well in a crate. Diesel walks well on a leash and will need slow introductions to new people to help him feel comfortable.
