Hank is about 1 year old, 58 lb lab/pit mix who was found as a stray and adopted from ACCT Philly 4 months ago. Since I've had him, he has been the most amazing little guy. He is crate trained, house broken, polite, proper, and gentle. He walks great on a leash (except for when he sees a squirrel, he gets a bit excited!). He knows all the basic commands like sit, wait, down, come, leave it, place, and touch. He is the quickest learner and sometimes even puts himself in his crate when he's ready for bed. He loves to play with other dogs and wants to say hi to every one we pass on our walks. He is a goofy guy and gets his post-walk zoomies, but then he settles down and just wants to be a loaf. If I take his food bowl, or a stick, or a toy away from him, he sits and waits for me to give it back. He loves adventures like hiking and camping, and does GREAT in the car. He is literally the most gentle, loving dog you could ask for, and deserves a good home WITHOUT cats. He would do great in a home with other dog(s). He has interacted with little kids and is generally gentle, but he does get excited when they run around and just needs a little guidance of how much he can play.
