Billy's "happy to be here" energy makes everyone feel at ease, and he approaches new people with warmth and gentle affection. He has a natural desire to please and an endearing way of checking in with his people.

Ideal Home

Billy is a house-trained, crate-trained boy who settles in nicely without constant direction. He's met children and has been gentle, polite, and calm. He would thrive in a home environment rather than an apartment, as he can sometimes be vocal when he's ready to be let out.

Ongoing Health

Billy is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also tested negative for heartworms.

Training & Support

Billy is house and crate trained with lovely manners in the home. He shows thoughtfulness and caution with other dogs, listening well to guidance and taking corrections easily. He particularly enjoys the company of low to medium energy females with a bully vibe who give him space to warm up. He has shown curiosity and respectfulness towards cats, and with guidance and a confident feline friend, he may be able to join a home with a cat.

Billy is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
