TEX (Loyal, Loving, Active--Fostering in Wayne, NJ)

Hi there! I'm Tex, and I'm a 2-year-old Cattle Dog/Corgi mix with a whole lot of love to give and a lot of energy to burn! I weigh about 35 pounds and have the cutest little legs, which I'm told is a mix of my breeds. I was found abandoned in a rural area, but I'm looking forward to a brighter future with my forever family. I'm neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my shots.

Ideal Home

I'm an active boy who would be happiest on a farm, with acreage, or with access to plenty of trails for our adventures! Due to my herding breed, I'd do best in an all-adult household or one with high school-aged children. I also need a home without cats, as I find them a bit too tempting to chase.

Ongoing Health

I'm currently healthy and up to date on all my vaccinations.

Training & Support

I'm house and crate trained, and I'm a pro on the leash. I love car rides and baths, too! While I'm shy at first, I warm up quickly and am incredibly loyal and protective of my loved ones. I do play well with other dogs.
