Sonny

Sonny is a 2-year-old ray of pure sunshine with a smile that can light up any room—literally. Though she is deaf, Sonny doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. She communicates beautifully through love, energy, and her signature happy grin, which she proudly shows off on cue (and anytime she’s excited). Sweet, affectionate, and endlessly joyful, Sonny is the kind of dog who makes everyone around her feel happier just by being near her. She’s an absolute sweetheart who’s ready to bring her sunshine into a forever home.

Ideal Home

Sonny is a social butterfly and would likely do well in a home with other dogs and cats. She has also shown she is good with children under 8 years old.

Ongoing Health

Sonny is heartworm positive and will require treatment. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Sonny is house-trained. As she is deaf, her new family will need to be mindful of her communication style and continue to build on her positive reinforcement training.
