Meet Coast, a spirited 3-year-old pittie/boxer mix whose zest for life is as vast as the ocean. He was discovered abandoned in the New Mexico desert, but that challenging start has only fueled his incredibly positive outlook. Coast wakes up every day with pure joy, eager to embrace the world around him, whether it's basking in the sun, making new friends, or delighting in a favorite squeaky toy.
Coast is a wonderfully affectionate and playful companion. Hand him a squeaky toy, and his whole face will light up as his playful spirit takes center stage. He's a well-mannered dog who loves to be involved in your adventures, from hiking and car rides to simply relaxing with you at the end of the day. Coast is happiest when he's by your side, and despite his past, he remains a joyful and loyal friend, ready to dedicate his heart to a loving forever family. He's patiently waiting for the stability and love he truly deserves.

Ongoing Health
Coast has received all necessary vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, as well as flea and heartworm prevention. He has also been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Coast is eager to please and has been working on his skills, including leash training and basic commands, through socialization and one-on-one bonding. He's a rescue dog and will benefit from continued training efforts and understanding as he continues his journey to being the best dog he can be.

- An additional fee of $75 applies for pick-up at our Angleton, Texas location.
Transportation
Coast is currently available for transportation to predetermined locations in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN, and OH. Custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request for an additional fee, to be covered by the adopting family. Our transport vehicles are equipped with air conditioning and attendants for your pet's comfort. You can follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook Event page, where you'll find updates, photos, and opportunities to connect with other adopters. Our Adoption Coordinator will assist in finding the most convenient pick-up location for you.
