Tater is a 6-year-old Terrier hound mix whose enthusiasm for life is as boundless as his affection. With an irresistibly squishy face and big, expressive eyes, he’s a total charmer who leaves everyone infatuated. Tater isn't about having too much energy these days; he's all about joy, turning every day into an exciting new experience. Whether it's a hike, a walk in the park, or a long car ride to nowhere in particular, Tater is happiest when he’s by your side, exploring the world.

His playful streak is mild but matched by his sharp mind. Tater is quick to pick up on commands and thrives on positive reinforcement, especially when there’s praise or a cuddle waiting for him at the end. Ongoing Health

All vetting is up to date, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, flea and heartworm prevention, and he has been heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Tater is quick to pick up on commands and thrives on positive reinforcement. He has been working on leash training and basic commands.

Transporation

Available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & TN, KY, IL,& IN, OH. Our dogs are transported via a USDA licensed semi-truck equipped with air conditioning and staffed with two drivers and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. For our East Coast route, transport is via a private, air-conditioned van. You will be able to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication. Our Adoption Coordinator will help find the closest transport pick-up location to you.
