Teddy

Teddy is a sweet 13-year-old Shih Tzu who weighs 16 lbs. He had a loving owner for 10 years until she had to move into a nursing home. He then moved with her to an apartment in the same building for two years until his second mom became ill and could no longer care for him. He's adjusted wonderfully to his foster home, even with all the other dogs. He's found his favorite sleeping spot on his dog bed and enjoys the lively household. It took him a couple of weeks, but he now loves relaxing in his favorite lounge chair. Despite his age, Teddy still gets the zoomies and happily zooms around the house! He's looking for a final home where he can be showered with love and treated like the special boy he is.

Ongoing Health

Teddy was recently diagnosed with small kidney stones and is currently on a special dry dog food diet. The vet believes this new diet will help clear up the stones.

Training & Support

Teddy has adjusted well to his foster home and enjoys the busy environment. He has claimed a dog bed as his own and has discovered a love for lounging in a chair.
