Henley

Henley is a 1-year-old Plott Hound mix who weighs a perfectly portable 35 pounds. He was found as a stray and came to us looking for a fresh start. Even with the uncertainty he's faced, Henley has shown himself to be an incredibly sweet and mellow boy. He's so good-natured that he was even used as a "tester" dog at the shelter to help gauge the demeanor and energy levels of other pups. He was always calm, respectful, and friendly with his canine companions. While he's a bit smaller than a typical Plott Hound, his DNA is certainly full of sweetness! Henley is currently living with a foster family and is thriving. They describe him as a happy-go-lucky guy who is super sweet and loves to play with his doggie siblings. He's smart, listens well, and enjoys playtime in the backyard. Henley is a wonderful medium-sized companion ready to find his forever home.

Ideal Home

Henley would do best in a suburban setting with a loving family and a fully fenced yard. He would be thrilled to have a doggie sibling to play with, but he could also be a happy solo pup if his family is active and showers him with lots of love.

Henley is healthy and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Henley is a smart pup who listens well. He enjoys playtime and is a great companion.
