DUNCAN

Duncan is the sweetest little boy, a typical mixed breed with a lot of Chihuahua in his DNA! He's about 1 year old and weighs around 19 pounds. Duncan absolutely loves to play with his squeaky toys, enjoys lots of petting, and thrives on attention. He's a quiet, well-behaved pup who seems to be pretty house-trained and walks nicely on a leash, though he could benefit from a little more training. Duncan gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is ready to shower his new family with affection.

Ideal Home

Duncan would do best in a home without children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued, but he has completed treatment according to The American Heartworm Society protocols. We typically find that dogs test negative in 4 to 6 months after treatment. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas, ticks, and parasites.

Training & Support

Duncan is already pretty well house-trained and does well on a leash, but he could use a little more training to build his confidence.
