Hi there! I'm Kui, an 8-year-old, 120 lb sweetheart who is looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home. I might look a little rough around the edges, but don't let that fool you – I'm probably the softest dog you'll ever pet, both literally and in spirit. I'm a big, loving shadow who adores belly rubs, couch cuddles, and a little morning play before settling in for a championship-level nap. I'm potty trained, trustworthy with free roam of the house, not destructive, and my exercise needs are refreshingly low. My favorite things include a fresh bone, a quick game of fetch, leisurely sniffari walks, and absolutely demolishing a cardboard box just because it's fun. I also take my daily medications like a perfect lady, as long as they're tucked inside a bite of deli meat. If you're looking for a bed buddy, I'll happily curl up beside you all night, and the best part? No snoring! I'm simply happiest hanging out with my people and don't mind sharing a little drool as payment for all the love I'll give you. Stairs used to make me nervous, but I'm proud to say I have mastered them now!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can be your one-and-only or live with other dogs after slow introductions. I'm also respectful with dog-savvy cats. Children aged 15 and up are ideal due to my size.

Ongoing Health

I take daily medications, which are best given with a treat.

Training & Support

I am potty trained and do well free-roaming the house. I have overcome my nervousness around stairs and have mastered them!
