Meet Rex, a four-year-old silver-gray pitty or staffy mix with a heart as big as he is. Rex has the softest face, sweetest eyes, and a charming white chest spot that makes him look like he's wearing a tiny tuxedo. He's a happy, go-with-the-flow kind of guy who approaches life with an easy, joyful attitude, making him a pleasure to be around. Rex is a big, soft house hippo who truly knows how to chill, and he loves to entertain himself with toys, explore with his nose, or simply relax nearby.
Ideal Home
Rex is a fantastic companion for families, as he is incredibly gentle and patient with small children. He also does wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and would be happy as the sole canine companion or with a medium to low-energy, respectful dog friend. While he hasn't been fully cat tested, we are happy to do further testing if you think he might be the one. Rex is even apartment-friendly, making him a versatile addition to many types of homes.

Rex is a healthy boy! All vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip, has been completed.
Training & Support
Rex is a remarkably well-behaved dog! He is fully potty trained and crate trained. He enjoys his daily leash walks and walks nicely, though he's happy to pause for a good sniff. Rex is treat-motivated, eager to please, and loves toys, especially Kongs and a good game of tug-of-war.

Transporation
Rex is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time and receive photo updates. A transport surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
