Lou aka Lover

Lou, a charming mixed-breed terrier male, is approximately 45 lbs and no longer growing. He and his siblings were rescued from rural Arkansas, where they were found as dumped puppies. Lou is exceptionally loving and has a unique way of showing affection, gently placing his paws on your leg while looking up with adoring eyes. He's playful, intelligent, and a true doll who thrives on attention. Lou absolutely loves children and would be the perfect center of attention in a family of his own, making him an excellent family dog.

Lou would love to be the center of attention in a family of his own and would make a great family dog.

Ongoing Health

Lou is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is up-to-date on Simparica Trio for heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. He will have a vet exam, a negative fecal test, and a health certificate for travel.

Training & Support

Lou is accustomed to an indoor kennel with a doggie door and should transition quickly to potty training in a home environment.

Transporation

Lou is currently located in an indoor kennel with a doggie door to an outside covered kennel. We transport our dogs to the New England area states. We are happy to walk you through the adoption process if you are out of state and can arrange video chat calls to help you get to know our rescues. We can help you find the transport stop nearest to you. The adoption fee of $250 includes transport to many New England cities.
