About Milo

Milo is a very sweet Jack Russell mix who was relinquished when he could not cope with the noisy, active environment with two adults, 2 children under 6 and 5 children over 6 years. He is cautious at first meeting new people, but he is affectionate and loves to play. Milo loves to meet new dogs and tries to engage in play with a gentle introduction. He is a bit reactive when on leash, but his foster is sure this can be corrected. Milo walks very nicely on leash but like all terriers, will chase squirrels and birds if given the chance. He has no separation anxiety. Milo loves to cuddle up to his human, always making body contact. He is currently allowed to sleep in his foster's bed but will sleep in a crate. Milo is very intelligent, catches on fast, loves to learn, and is eager to please his human. He would be a good candidate for a hiking partner and loves car rides. Milo shows absolutely no aggression, has no bite history, and is a wonderful, sweet dog. He rarely barks except when he is startled. His experience with cats is good, and he has met young children on walks, being very curious and gentle. Milo is a sweet, happy little love bug.

Ideal Home

Milo would do well with a couple or single person, a yard to run in, and someone to love and guide him. Another dog in the home would be lovely but not necessary as he can entertain himself.

Ongoing Health

Milo has no known health conditions and has not undergone any procedures.

Training & Support

Milo is a bit reactive when on leash, but his foster is confident this can be corrected with continued training. He is intelligent, learns quickly, and loves to please, making him a great candidate for ongoing training.
