Daffy is a delightful 2-year-old, neutered male Plott Hound Mix, weighing in at a sturdy 65 pounds. He's a resilient and fun-loving boy with a heartwarming story. Daffy was rescued from the euthanasia list at BARC in Houston, Texas, and thanks to the efforts of Dizzy Dog Animal Rescue and his foster mom, he's now ready for his second chance at life and a loving forever family. He thrives on activity and companionship, and his enthusiasm is channeled through doggy daycare, where he's an honor roll student! Daffy adores playing with other dogs and would do best in a home with playful canine companions and an active family who can match his energy.

Training & Support
Daffy is fully house-trained and crate-trained, and he knows his name, coming when called. He enjoys playing fetch and spending time with his people. He's still working on his leash manners, as he tends to pull and zigzag, but he's eager to learn with guidance. When left unsupervised, Daffy may "relocate" household items to the yard, so crating him while you're away is recommended. With patience and training, he'll continue to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Transporation
Daffy is currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas, and can be transported to an approved adopter. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be placed on the next available transport once approved.
