Chucky

Meet Chucky, a 4-year-old, 77-pound Staffy mix who is a true gentle giant! Chucky's favorite activity is snuggling up close, and he's convinced he's still a lap-sized puppy. He enjoys leisurely walks, playing with toys, and lounging on the couch. Chucky is a loyal companion who thrives on love and security. He knows "sit" and "stay" and is working on his self-control around small critters. Chucky prefers a "cozy corner" over a crate and is doing well with a consistent routine. He gets along well with smaller female dogs but is not a fan of larger males. Chucky is a calm and collected boy who can be a bit of a mama's boy and may get jealous of attention given to others. He would do well in a home with older children and would love a yard for exploring.

Ideal Home

A home with older children is recommended. Chucky would love a yard for his sniffing adventures.

Ongoing Health

Chucky is a healthy boy.

Training & Support

Chucky knows "sit" and "stay" and is working on his impulse control around small animals. He is crate-trained but prefers a cozy spot with a baby gate.

Transporation

Chucky is currently being fostered in Texas. Our rescue provides transportation to his forever home weekly.
