About Button Mushroom Best Boy

Button is approximately 9 months old and is ready to be your tiny shadow with floppy ears! He's a professional snuggler, gentle kiss distributor, squeaky toy enthusiast, and an emotional support sidekick who is convinced every person was invented to love him. This sweet boy is a hilariously adorable puppy with a soft heart. We suspect he may be a Pit Bull/Pointer mix, but whatever his heritage, he's packed with maximum charm! Button is confident, incredibly affectionate, and settles into connection almost immediately. He approaches new people with an enthusiastic "Hi!!! Are you my best friend now?" He loves attention and happily seeks affection, sticking close to his person without being demanding. And don't even get us started on his ears – one spotted, one solid, and impossibly floppy, they bounce with every step, adding to his unfair levels of cuteness.

Button is more of a gentle observer around other dogs, showing respectful social skills and leaning submissive in new interactions. He enjoys playing with friendly and easygoing dogs but doesn't seek rough-and-rowdy chaos. His play style is bouncy and sweet. He would thrive with kind, socially appropriate canine friends who aren't overly pushy. He handles the world with calm acceptance, recovering quickly from anything mildly worrying. When unsure, he tends to freeze briefly rather than react aggressively and is easy to redirect and reassure. He showed excellent tolerance during handling, allowing touching of his paws, ears, face, and body without concern, acting like a tiny gentleman.

Button has a wonderfully balanced energy level. He enjoys toys, playing, exploring, and adventures, but settles easily and calmly after exercise. He never barked during his time with us, even with a lot going on, and seemed content soaking up affection and playing with his toys. Squeaky toys are a passion! He met cats respectfully, though slow introductions with dog-savvy cats are recommended. He was also very sweet with children, approaching gently for kisses and snuggles. Because he is a soft and submissive puppy, he would thrive with a confident, reassuring family to help him continue building confidence.

Button could do well in a variety of homes, including apartments, as long as he receives continued socialization, structure, playtime, and love. He doesn't need to be the loudest dog; he just wants to be included in whatever his people are doing, preferably with a stuffed toy. If you're searching for a precious angel baby, floppy-eared cartoon character, and loyal sidekick, Button may be your guy!
