Meet Polly, a sweet 38lb Cattle Dog Retriever mix who embodies the spirit of a perpetual puppy with a heart full of affection. She's already spayed, vaccinated, and up-to-date on all her preventatives, making her ready to jump right into her forever home. Polly has a wonderfully mellow personality and loves to be a part of whatever her humans are doing.
Ideal Home
Polly is a social butterfly who enjoys playing with other dogs and has shown to be great with children aged 6 and up. While we don't have information about her interactions with cats, she's a versatile companion who would likely thrive in many different home environments. She enjoys playtime but is equally happy to relax and cuddle, making her a great fit for active or more laid-back households.

Training & Support
Polly is house-trained and crate-trained for up to six hours. She's also well-behaved in the car and doesn't exhibit resource guarding or food aggression. She is currently working on her leash manners and may pull occasionally, but she's easily managed as she continues to learn. Like many young dogs, Polly is still learning the ropes of home life. She'll do best with a patient adopter who can provide consistent guidance. To prevent her from getting into things when unsupervised, she should be crated when left alone. With routine and patience, she will continue to flourish.
