Big Boy

Big Boy is a happy, goofy, playful English Bulldog who spent most of his life as a breeding dog in a barn. He has never lived in a home and is looking for patient support as he learns house manners. He is energetic, affectionate, and plays rough.

Ideal Home

Big Boy would likely do best as the only dog. He has not been around small children and may not be a good fit for toddlers because of his energy and rough play. He may be curious and annoying to cats, but his behavior around cats has not been confirmed.

Ongoing Health

• Big Boy is approximately 4 years old and weighs probably 80 pounds or more.
• He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

• He is doing well with crate training and tolerates wearing a belly band.
• He needs continued work on house manners.
• He can be stubborn and responds best to firm correction paired with plenty of praise.
• He may snatch food or grab at hands when he thinks food is available.
• He currently humps or challenges other dogs; this may improve as his hormones subside.
