Delta Dawn

Meet Delta Dawn! This 40lb Cattle Dog mix, born around May 6, 2022, is a true testament to resilience and sweetness. Delta Dawn's journey hasn't been easy; she arrived at our rescue pregnant and found herself on the euth list at the county shelter. We couldn't let that happen, so we brought her into our care. She went to a loving foster home where she comfortably welcomed her puppies. Sadly, all 11 of her puppies succumbed to puppy fading syndrome, a heartbreaking loss for everyone. Despite her past, Delta Dawn has the softest fur and a sweet nature that makes you want to shower her with affection. Cuddles are her favorite! She enjoys outings, even trips to Tractor Supply, and doesn't mind a bath. She loves exploring the toy and treat aisles, sniffing all the good things.

Delta Dawn is looking for a person who will give her all the belly rubs and show her the love and adoration she truly deserves.

Delta Dawn is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

We are currently working on leash training with Delta Dawn. She's full of life and eager to explore, sometimes moving faster than her foster mom can walk! However, she's very trainable as she loves to please her humans. She's recently learned to play with balls and loves it, though we're still working on her bringing them back. She is kennel and potty trained.
