HayHay is not just a pretty face and puff of fluff! She's a Pyrenees mix and, as a livestock guardian breed, needs a home with that experience! HayHay is ready to find her forever home and will be arriving in Amesbury, MA on September 1st.
HayHay was surrendered to a shelter in AL that was already at capacity. She's a very lucky girl, and the photo of her in the car shows her freedom ride from the shelter! HayHay is 8 weeks old and already 15 pounds. Given her current age and weight, and breed mix, we expect her to grow into a large dog! She is currently with a foster in TN and is enjoying playing with other recently rescued puppies and engaging in all sorts of puppy play shenanigans. Her foster mom says she is super friendly and happy, and is great with the other three puppies. She is already a very social and stable puppy.
Ideal Home
Preference is given to adopters willing to pre-adopt (commit to) a puppy or dog before arrival.
Ongoing Health
All of our pups come spayed or neutered, age-appropriate vaccinated, dewormed, and tested (if older than 6 months). They are dosed with flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Southern dogs 6 months and older come with a Proheart 6 injection which provides 6 months of heartworm protection. Dogs surrendered in MA do not receive the Proheart 6 injection but do go home dosed with flea/tick/heartworm preventative so there is no lapse in protection. Ages listed can be approximate and breed mixes are a best guess based on physical characteristics.
Training & Support
Puppies not adopted are available to meet in their MA foster homes after your application is approved. Should this pup receive an adoption commitment prior to your application being processed, we will share with you the other arriving pups that may be a match for you, some of which are not yet posted online.

Transporation
HayHay is arriving in Amesbury, MA on September 1st. Pups not adopted are available to meet in their MA foster homes after your application is approved.
