Drifter

Drifter is a 3.5-year-old, 45-pound boy with a heart of gold who is looking for a family to call his own. This sweet, affectionate guy loves people, enjoys spending time with his family, and is always happy to soak up a good chest scratch or belly rub. He gets along well with other dogs and has met cats without much interest, though he hasn't lived with them. Drifter does have some sensitivity around his back end and prefers not to be touched there. Despite his little quirks, Drifter is a happy, loving dog who is ready to leave shelter life behind and become someones best friend. He enjoys companionship, cuddles, and simply being included in whatever his people are doing.

Ideal Home

We're looking for a home with adults or older, respectful children who can understand Drifter's boundaries and help him feel comfortable and secure.

Ongoing Health

Drifter is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea treated. He is continuing his heartworm treatment under veterinary guidance.

Training & Support

Drifter is house-trained.
