Meet Squeak! ๐พ Squeak is a 2-year-old, neutered male Yorkshire Terrier mix, weighing in at a petite 5 pounds. He came to us as a stray alongside his brother, Pip, and has spent the last month discovering the joys of indoor living and all the love a pampered pup deserves.
Squeak is a shy fellow who needs a little time to warm up. He's more reserved than his brother, but once he feels secure, he blossoms into a cuddly companion who adores being close to his people. With patience and gentle encouragement, his confidence will continue to soar.
Having likely lived outdoors most of his life, Squeak is working on his indoor manners. He's making great progress with potty training but still needs some help establishing a routine. He does best with a belly band for now and is learning to use pee pads.
Squeak has met various animals in his foster home and gets along well with both big and small dogs, as well as cats. He can also coexist with calm, gentle children. Because he's a bit timid, a peaceful home environment where he can adjust at his own pace would be ideal for him.
Squeak is searching for a patient and loving family to help him build confidence and show him how wonderful the world can be. In return, he promises to be a devoted little friend who will cherish your company. ๐
