Meet Trout! This handsome fellow was found on the euthanasia list at a local shelter and was saved by his amazing foster mom. He's a surprisingly chill dog who enjoys both adventures and relaxing on the couch. Trout can be a little shy at first but warms up to become a loyal companion. He's kennel and house-trained, walks well on a leash, and knows how to sit. He gets along well with other dogs but needs a home without cats due to his interest in them. Trout's one quirk is his extreme dislike for taking medicine. He's estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs 54 lbs.

Trout would thrive in a home that includes him in life's adventures, like camping and fishing trips. He needs a home without cats.

Trout is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. He is fully vetted, neutered, and up-to-date on preventatives.

Training & Support

Trout is already house-trained, kennel-trained, and walks well on a leash. He knows how to sit. His primary challenge is his strong aversion to taking medication.
