This intelligent and active two-year-old mixed breed is about 50 pounds with a striking black coat accented with white. Django is a dog who loves to bond deeply with his people, greeting them with enthusiastic joy as if each reunion is the best moment of the day! He thrives on connection and purpose, enjoying cuddles and leaning in for affection once he feels secure. His adventurous spirit loves toys of all kinds, especially for games of fetch, and he takes pride in carrying a treasured stick or ball on walks. Django also enjoys walks, runs, and swimming, and he's a quick learner who already knows many cues.

Ideal Home

Django would thrive in a quieter, child-free, and cat-free home. He would likely do best as the only dog, with an active family who understands reactive dogs and enjoys training.

Django currently takes daily Fluoxetine to help manage anxiety.

Training & Support

Django experiences fear-based reactivity in certain situations, such as with unfamiliar noises, unexpected distractions, or dogs encountered on leash. He requires thoughtful management when out in public and benefits from a predictable routine and continued behavior support with an experienced pet parent. He has a history of resource guarding with another dog around food, toys, or personal space. Meeting guests outside first and allowing him to warm up helps him feel secure.
