Tank

Tank is a handsome 4-year-old Heeler/Bluetick mix weighing around 45lbs. He's a sweet boy who ended up with us because his previous owner could no longer afford him. Tank is feeling a bit stressed by the changes in his life and the shelter environment, but he's a smart and affectionate guy who loves to be a lap lover. He's described as both active and a couch potato, and has lived both inside and outside. Tank knows how to sit and enjoys playing tug-of-war with his toys. He's also a good boy in the car and walks wonderfully on a leash!

Ideal Home

Tank would do best in a home where he can feel secure and loved. He has shown a tendency to chase and hurt outdoor cats, so a home without outdoor cats would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Tank is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Tank does have some behaviors that will need patient training and management. He has food aggression and resource guarding tendencies, can bark excessively, jumps on people, and is an escape artist. We believe with consistent training and positive reinforcement, he can overcome these challenges.
