Kibbles is an absolutely adorable 8-year-old Chow/Golden Retriever/Collie mix who weighs around 45 lbs. He's a total doll with a smile that could light up a room and a wonderfully soft, fluffy coat! Kibbles was previously adopted by a loving family six years ago, but due to unforeseen circumstances, they are no longer able to provide him with the care he deserves. This was a heartbreaking decision for everyone, as Kibbles is a cherished member of the family. He's a true sweetheart who adores people of all ages and has happily lived with ten children. Kibbles thrives on companionship and loves to be close to his people – he's a true "velcro dog"! He's incredibly friendly and affectionate, and his favorite activities include leisurely walks, exciting car rides (he gets so excited when he sees the keys!), and cozy couch cuddles. While Kibbles has lived with other dogs and can do well after proper introductions, he tends to be a bit of a "center of attention" kind of guy. Once he's comfortable, he can become a bit alpha and possessive if another dog vies for his human's attention. For this reason, we believe he would be happiest as the only dog in the home, allowing him to be the sole focus of all the love.
Ideal Home
Kibbles would be a perfect companion for a single person or empty nesters (grandkids who visit are a bonus!) or a family with older children who are seeking a devoted furry family member. He is not a good fit for homes with cats or small dogs, as he has a tendency to chase smaller critters. A securely fenced yard is a requirement for Kibbles.
Ongoing Health
Kibbles is fully vetted, up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives, has been heartworm tested, and is neutered.
Training & Support
Kibbles is house-trained.
