Jackie

Jackie is a sweet 11-year-old, 20-pound girl who is longing for a person or people to love. She recently lost her owner and is slowly finding her way through life without her original person. Jackie has so much love to give and will need a home with someone that is willing to give her the time she needs to warm up to her new life. She has a funny little personality and would make a great companion for someone that wants a buddy without the demands of a puppy or an energetic youngster. Jackie is low energy; she does like walks but can't go far. We hope that her diet will help with her comfort and endurance, as she is a tad overweight. Jackie came from a home with another older, large dog and has done well in her foster home, sharing space with a large and small dog.

Jackie would thrive in a home with someone who can give her the time and patience she needs to adjust to her new surroundings. She's looking for a companion who wants a buddy without the demands of a younger, more energetic dog.

Ongoing Health

Jackie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and current with flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She is a bit overweight, and her diet is being managed to help with her comfort and endurance.

Jackie is house-trained. As she adjusts to a new home, patience will be key to helping her feel secure and loved.
