Boone

Boone is a 1-year-old, 59-pound Labrador Retriever mix with a gentle, sweet, and mild-mannered personality. He walks well on leash and appears to be house-trained, making him a wonderful companion. Boone is selective with other dogs and prefers to avoid those who are overly energetic or in his face. His front right leg has a previous injury that healed on its own, and while he favors it and limps slightly, he gets around just fine. He is otherwise healthy, heartworm negative, neutered, and will be microchipped at the time of adoption.

Ideal Home

Boone would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard or on a large, safe property where he can get the exercise he needs to thrive.

Ongoing Health

Boone's front right leg was previously broken and has healed on its own. He does favor it and limps, but it doesn't prevent him from getting around. He is otherwise healthy and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Boone is already house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is selective with other dogs and would benefit from a home environment that respects his preferences for calmer canine interactions.
