Charlie "Peanut" Brown is a happy young male Boxer and Boston Terrier mix who had a tough start in life, having been rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite his past, Charlie has a wonderful attitude and a deep love for people. He's a bit cautious and slow to warm up to other dogs, but with proper introductions, he can be a great companion to dogs his own size. Charlie enjoys exploring and learning from his canine friends, and he's growing into a confident and mellow pup. While not an alpha dog, he will stand his ground if challenged. He thrives on making his people happy and has the potential to be a fantastic emotional support companion, often doing funny things to get a laugh. Charlie has learned several commands and is good with children, but for now, families with children over 10 years old would be ideal until he's fully trained.

Ideal Home

Charlie would do best in a home with another friendly, playful dog of similar size to be his best friend and help him learn. He is good with children over 10 years old.

Ongoing Health

Charlie has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Charlie needs ongoing socialization and would benefit from professional training sessions with his new family to ensure everyone is on the same page. Training together can be a wonderful bonding experience.
