Meet Joey, a spirited 1-year-old, 9lb Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix who's bursting with personality and charm! Despite a challenging start, Joey has blossomed into a happy, cuddly, and incredibly smart pup, eager to find his forever home. He's a 10/10 on the cuteness scale and is a treat-motivated learner. Joey enjoys his walks, loves to sunbathe, burrow, and snuggle up for cuddles. He gets along well with his foster dog siblings and would likely thrive with a calm canine companion or as the beloved only pet.

Ideal Home

Joey's perfect home is a calm environment with adults only. He needs adopters who are terrier-savvy or have rescue experience, and who can offer patience and commitment. A home with another calm dog would be a great bonus to help him learn the ropes!

Joey is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Joey is crate-trained and housebroken. Like many terriers, he can be selective with new people and sometimes needs a little extra time and guidance to build trust. We're working closely with a trainer to help him with greetings and trust-building, and we're committed to supporting his new family in continuing this progress.
