About Goldie

Hi, I'm Goldie! I'm an eight-month-old yellow Labrador, weighing in at about 55 pounds. I'm a beautiful, big goofy puppy who wants to find my forever home! My absolute favorite thing is treats, but chasing sprinkler water in the yard is a close second. It's so much fun to play in the water on these hot days! I would love some water to play in at my new house; a big pool, a kiddie pool, or just a sprinkler will do just fine! A good game of tug is fun too, but I'm a big girl so hold on tight! I rode on the ATV, watched the noisy neighbors mow their lawn, and even saw those weird vacuum monsters both the stick kind and the robot kind! They were a little scary at first, but I quickly realized they weren't a threat.

Ideal Home

I need a home where I can thrive. I get along great with kids, but because I'm still learning manners, older children or experienced families would be best. Also, I really, really like chasing cats, so a cat-free home is a must. What I really need is an active family to help me run off my puppy energy. My foster thinks I would be a great running buddy with a little training. I have so much energy and a huge desire to learn!

Training & Support

The humans here are working hard with me. I already know "sit" like a pro! We're also practicing "place," "drop-it," and "leave-it." I'm a fast learner, if I do say so myself. Leash walks are getting better, and I'm even learning to auto-sit when the human stops. I'm such a good girl! I'm supposed to tell you that I'm already crate trained and house trained...so if you want a puppy without the accidents, I'm your girl. I can't wait for my next adventure!
