Lola is a sweet, approximately 13-pound girl with an approximate DOB of 2/24/2024. She was surrendered with her litter of puppies as strays. Initially, Lola was protective, but she has blossomed into a loving companion who thrives on attention. She is independent yet devoted, always wanting to be near her favorite people, often curling up in a lap for pets. Lola is also a diligent guardian of her yard. She's still discovering the joy of toys and is working on her confidence with strangers, but with patience and time, she warms up beautifully.

Ideal Home

Lola would thrive in a loving and active home that can provide plenty of attention and outdoor activities, while also giving her space to bond. She would do best with older children who understand her need for personal space as she gets to know them. A home without small children would be ideal. She would also be happiest as the only pet in the household, as she has not been a fan of other dogs she's met. Due to her coat, she will need regular professional grooming every 4-6 weeks, so potential adopters must be prepared for this ongoing expense.

Lola is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Lola is housetrained and crate trained, using a doggy door and following a potty schedule. She is learning to play with toys and is gaining confidence with strangers. Her new family should continue to provide a supportive environment for her to build trust and encourage her playful nature.

Lola is located in New Mexico. We do welcome out-of-state adoptions. Adopters must make arrangements to travel to New Mexico to meet Lola and complete the adoption process.
