Tanner

Meet Tanner! This sweet 14-pound, two-year-old terrier mix is a true gentleman with a gentle demeanor. He was found wandering near the border of Mexico and is an absolute joy to have around. Tanner gets along well with other dogs and is a little bashful when meeting new people. Once he feels comfortable, he loves nothing more than snuggling in your lap and soaking up all the affection and scratches he can get.

Ideal Home

Tanner would love a home where he can feel safe and loved. He is a bit bashful initially, so a patient and understanding family would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Tanner has been tested for Chagas, heartworm, and tick-borne illnesses. He is up-to-date on all core vaccines and has been given flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, as well as regular deworming. He has also been spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Please familiarize yourself with Chagas disease, as it is endemic in the southern states.

Training & Support

Tanner is not yet house-trained. With patience and consistency, he will surely learn.
