Thor Goodwin is a 2-year-old Boston Terrier mix, weighing around 29 lbs, who radiates pure joy and happiness. He approaches every day with an infectious enthusiasm, whether he's playing fetch, showing off his toy-fetching skills, or greeting you with a goofy grin and a wagging tail. Thor is the epitome of a happy-go-lucky goofball who is sure to bring laughter and adventure into your home.
Ideal Home
Thor would thrive in a family that appreciates his playful yet affectionate nature. He has seamlessly integrated into a household with a 3-year-old and a 13-year-old, showing a particular fondness for the older child, with whom he's almost always by their side. He's affectionate without being overly clingy, happy to be near his people and resting contentedly beside them.
Ongoing Health
Thor is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with boosters, Bordetella, rabies vaccination, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm and treated if needed.
Training & Support
Thor is eager to please and motivated by treats, already knowing how to sit. His foster reports he's very responsive to positive reinforcement and excited to learn. While he can sometimes jump up when excited to see people and may be a bit mouthy with adults when playful, he is noted to be incredibly gentle with the 3-year-old in his foster home. With continued consistency, he is expected to mature into an exceptional companion. He has been doing well relaxing in a laundry room when left alone and has had no indoor accidents.

Thor is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system, which includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
