Pippi Longstocking Pocket Sparkle is a delightful, energetic dog with a heart full of joy and a wagging tail that will make you smile. Estimated to be around 2 years old and weighing 37 lbs, this spunky girl is a medium-sized bundle of fun with a happy-go-lucky attitude. She approaches life with enthusiasm, greeting every day as a celebration.
Ideal Home
Pippi would thrive in an active household that enjoys play and movement. She needs a home with clear boundaries and a confident dog who can advocate for themselves, making her not the best fit for a very submissive dog. While her interactions with cats were mixed and inconclusive, we would love to see her in a home with a feline friend to better understand her dynamics.
Ongoing Health
Pippi is up-to-date on all her vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm and received treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Pippi has great basic leash manners and a pleasant pace. She responds well to correction and is eager for affection, often expressing her joy with enthusiastic wiggles. She shows friendly confidence with other dogs and can play boldly with equally playful and confident companions. She responds well to structure and benefits from clear boundaries. She is crate-trained and walks into her crate without fuss.

Pippi is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our USDA-certified transport system. Available drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
